Founder / Principal DesignerIn 2025, Meghan Meehan founded Hudson East Design as a natural evolution of her creative journey — a studio that reflects her refined, deeply personal approach to interiors. With over two decades of experience in design, project management, and creative direction, Meghan brings a thoughtful, collaborative perspective to every project. Her work is rooted in storytelling, guided by the belief that a well-designed space should reflect the people who live in it and evolve with them over time. Known for her approachable, collected style, she creates interiors that feel timeless, quietly elegant, and effortlessly lived in.
Before launching Hudson East, Meghan gained valuable experience working for high-end design firms in NYC and in 2016 co-founded the successful studio Hudson + Bloum Design. Over nine years, H+B built a reputation for warm, personalized interiors across both coasts, known for their timeless style and thoughtful details. Meghan earned her BA from Syracuse University, with a major in English and minor in art history. She went on to complete a master’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design at Drexel University. Combining her formal training with real-world experience, she’s developed a style that’s both curated and approachable. Based in New Jersey with her husband and two children, Meghan works on residential projects, always with an emphasis on authenticity, balance, and lasting beauty. |
